Theatre festival from today

Bangalore:
Rangashree Kala Samsthe in association with the Kannada and Culture Department and the Karnataka Nataka Academy will hold a theatre festival from July 14 to 23.
"Twenty-two troupes from various parts of Karnatakawill take part in the 10-day festival.
The function will be held at two levels. At the first level, plays will be staged at Ravindra Kalakshetra and Town Hall here.
Six best plays selected here will be staged at the second level at Madhugiri in Tumkur district," said Rangashri Rangaswami of Rangashree Kala Samsthe.
Apart from theatre, Bharatanatya, devotional songs, folk songs, mono acting, theatre songs and folk dance competitions would be held.
