Travel exhibition begins tomorrow

BANGALORE: India International Travel Mart (IITM), a travel and tourism exhibition, will be held in Bangalore from July 15 to 17 at the Kanteerava Indoor Stadium. "Around 20,000 visitors are expected to take part. The exhibition is open to all," said Anurag Gupta, Director, IITM.

Speaking to presspersons here on Wednesday, Rohit Hangal, Director, IITM India, said, "The forthcoming event will have around 200 participants from over 15 countries.

The States participating include Rajasthan, Uttaranchal, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, and Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Orissa, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh. Mr. Sanjay Hakhu, Director IITM, said that India is becoming one of the most interesting and productive countries for the travel trade industry, both for leisure and business travel. Discount packages are also provided at the trade fair. The entry fee is Rs. 30. For details, call 9844092150.
