HDFC Bank net at Rs. 239 cr. in first quarter

CHENNAI: HDFC Bank has reported a net profit of Rs. 239.30 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, against Rs. 183.53 crore. Total income has increased from Rs. 1,157.68 crore to Rs. 1,855.08 crore. The operating profit has increased to Rs. 615.70 crore from Rs. 561.24 crore.
