HYDERABAD: Fancied Tamil Nadu defeated Kerala 3-0 in the men's team championship second round of the seventh South Zone carrom championship here on Friday. In the women's section, host Hyderabad made short work of Andhra 3-0 to enter the third round. D. Ravinder Goud of Hyderabad scored the only black slam of the day against P.K. Shawar of Kerala when his team recorded a 3-0 win in the first round in the afternoon. The results: Team championship (second round): Hyderabad bt Andhra 2-1; Tamil Nadu bt Kerala 3-0; Karnataka bt Pondicherry 2-1.
