Directive to officials

SRIKAKULAM: Chief Secretary T.K. Dewan has directed Collectors and Joint Collectors to prepare district-wise and project-wise database and resolve issues of land acquisition on priority basis.

Participating in a video conference with Collectors and project officers and land acquisition officers on Friday, Mr. Dewan pointed out to the issues which remained unsolved even after issue of instructions.

He wanted special attention paid to such issues.

The Chief Secretary wanted the work of data to be completed within two weeks.

Srikakulam district has 33 land acquisition cases, according to the District Collector.
