ALIGARH: In an incident that would not have been out of place in the Bollywood hit ``Munnabhai MBBS'', a young man has been caught by officials of Aligarh Muslim University for allegedly having used another person to appear on his behalf in the admission test for a medical course. Sohrab Alam was caught by officials of the university when he came for a counselling session for the MBBS course on Thursday. The officials became suspicious after they saw that Alam did not match the photo on the identity card issued for the admission test conducted last month. But Alam claimed that he had been ``seriously ill'' when the photo was taken and had now recovered. The issue was clinched when officials found that Alam's thumb print did not match the thumb impression on the answer sheet of the admission test that was in his name. University officials said the matter was immediately handed over to the police, who arrested Alam. In the film ``Munnabhai MBBS'', a criminal played by Sunjay Dutt uses fraudulent means, including cheating in the admission test, to gain admission to an MBBS course. -- PTI
