CHANDIGARH: Haryana Minister of State for Forests Kiran Choudhry will honour the top three position holders of the quiz, painting and tree plantation on panchayat land competitions at a State-level function in Bhiwani on Saturday. A spokesman of the State Forests Department said that these competitions were organised all over the State on Wednesday as a prelude to the Van Mahotsav day falling on Saturday. The focus of these competitions was to make the people conscious about the significance of conservation of environment and to encourage them to plant more and more trees.
