Two girl inmates of State Home escape

HYDERABAD: Two inmates of the State Home at Yousufguda escaped when they were taken to Government Hospital at Balkampet for a medical check-up on Thursday. According to the S.R. Nagar police, Geeta and Shahanz, both aged 19 years, told the home authorities that they were suffering from fever.

An attendant took the girls to the hospital in the afternoon.

The police said the girls walked away while the attendant was speaking to a person.

Collector's visit

Hyderabad Collector R.V. Chandravadan made a surprise visit to the Institute of Mental Health, Erragadda and took stock of facilities being provided to inmates. He directed the MRO to take stern action against those people who occupied the land belonging to hospital.
