Teenager held for brother's death
According to the police, Suhel, son of Sartaj, a resident of Bhajanpura, was found dead in his house around 9 a.m. on Thursday. Investigations revealed that his elder brother, 19-year-old Zeeshan, had hit him with a saw on his neck following an argument. The police arrested him after he allegedly confessed to having killed his brother. The police said Zeeshan, Suhel and four other siblings were playing video game on Thursday evening. Late in the night, Zeeshan asked Suhel to go to sleep but the latter insisted on playing for some more time. An argument ensued between them and in a fit of rage Zeeshan picked up a saw and inflicted injuries on Suhel's neck. Suhel died later due to excessive bleeding.
Notice to L-G
A Division Bench of the Court comprising Justice Vijender Jain and Justice Kailash Gambhir directed the respondents to file their replies to the petition by October 31. The petitioner, Bhrashtachar Virodhi Sangathan, alleged that the Director, S.S. Rao, had fenced the encroached portion of the park, organised parties and leased it out to others for organising marriages and other functions.
