Stalin launches extended nutritious meal scheme

CHENNAI: Local Administration Minister M. K. Stalin launched the extended nutritious meal scheme at a Chennai Corporation school in Thousands Lights constituency on Saturday, coinciding with the launch of the "two-eggs-a-week" programme elsewhere in the state.

He told mediapersons the function was organised on the birth anniversary of former Chief Minister and Congress leader K. Kamaraj as a mark of respect for all he had done to improve school education.
