New Delhi: The All India Muslim Personal Law Board has full faith in the Supreme Court, which is hearing the Centre's petition seeking permission to erect a bulletproof structure around the disputed site in Ayodhya, and expects a favourable order on the issue. "We have full faith in the Supreme Court and hope it will give a favourable order," AIMPLB Vice President Syed Kalb-e-Sadiq told PTI here on Sunday. The Government had sought the apex court's permission to carry out constructions to strengthen security at the site. Its permission is needed in view of its earlier order to maintain the status quo there. Mr. Sadiq said they would appeal again if the order was not in their favour."But one thing I can assure that we will not take the law in our hands even if the court allows a fresh construction." He said he was "fed up" with the Government and political parties for their lack of concern over genuine problems of people. "I am losing faith in the whole political structure. Instead of concentrating on real issues, they go after controversial issues," he said. Following the Government's petition, a Bench, comprising Justices K.G. Balakrishnan and D.K. Jain, posted the matter for hearing to the first week of August. The Centre said the decision had been taken after discussions with the U.P. Government. PTI
