NAAC team to visit Kongu Arts and Science College

ERODE: The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) team headed by Abdul Rahiman (chairperson), former Vice Chancellor, Kannur and Calicut Universities, Mangalore, will visit the Kongu Arts and Science College on July 19, 20 and 21.

According to the college authorities, two other members Leslie Moras, Principal, St. Philomena's College, Mysore, and A.K. Sarala, Department of Genetics, Osmania University, Hyderabad, Lalitha Govindan, Joint Director of Collegiate Education (P&D), Chennai, will also accompany the team.

Quality

The NAAC team would assess the quality and excellence based upon the seven criteria- curricular aspects, teaching, learning and evaluation, research, consultancy and extension, infrastructure and learning resources, students' support and progression, organisation and management, healthy practices and performance of the departments.
