Dindigul: Twelve poor but enthusiastic students, who have been struggling to continue their studies owing to financial crisis, are now able to carry on with their studies without any hindrance, thanks to `Each care one care,' a novel project adopted by members of Rotary Club of Queen City. Under the scheme, each member adopts one student and extends financial assistance to complete his secondary education. This was announced during installation of new office-bearers here recently. The new president, C. Mallika, said the club has also planned to plant 5,000 tree saplings in different places with the participation of school students. To begin with 50 saplings were distributed to St. Francis Xavier's School town to make the school campus green. "We have an ambitious plan this year to adopt Silvarpatti village and work for the uplift of people there," she said. E. Rathinamala was installed as secretary.
