GUNTUR: There is a need to include more calcium in our diet, as it is the best way to prevent orthopaedic-related ailments like osteopenia and osteoporosis, according to city-based orthopaedician Srirama Chandra Murthy. Inaugurating a free medical camp for orthopaedics and neurology-related complaints conducted at Nehru Nagar on Sunday, he said that including foodstuffs like Soya beans, pulses, ragi, fruits and vegetables and skimmed milk powder in our daily diet gives calcium needed for the body. District Minorities Welfare Officer Mastan Vali, Oxford society president D. Srinivas Reddy and others took part.
