Physically challenged children display their talents

State-level competitions to held in Mandya on July 28 and 29



DIFFERENTLY ABLED: Participants waiting for their turn at the district-level cultural competitions held for physically challenged children in Hubli on Sunday.

HUBLI: All of them were born with some deformity or became physically challenged owing to various factors. But they have proved that they are not lacking in talent.

Cultural competitions were held for physically challenged under the aegis of Uttara Karnataka Angavikalara Kreeda Mattu Kshemabhivruddhi Samsthe here on Sunday. They presented songs, dances, mimicry and staged a play.

Ghanshyam Bhandage, president of the samsthe and vice-president of the Karnataka Rajya Angavikalara Sanghagala Okkuta, said that those who came first would take part in the State-level competitions to held in Mandya on July 28 and 29..

Matrimonial meet

A matrimonial meet was also held in which nearly 82 disabled persons participated.
