MANGALORE: Personnel of the Ullal Police Station have arrested three persons involved in three separate cases of theft and recovered electronic items and other goods worth Rs. 50,000. The accused are Muvaz (24), Abdul Hakim (20) and Mohammed Majeed (21), residents of Ullal, a department press release said here on Sunday. Of the accused, Muvaz has reportedly been involved in previous theft cases. They were arrested at Mastikatte on the Ullal-Thokkottu Road on Friday. The accused reportedly confessed to breaking in into two houses at Kumpala and Chembugudde areas under the Ullal Police Station limits and stealing a scooter at Bendorewell. Cases have been registered in Ullal and Mangalore East (Kadri) police stations respectively.
