Coimbatore: Areas served by the Madukkarai sub-station will not have power supply from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 18, owing to a shutdown. The areas are: K.G. Chavady, Palathurai, Athupalam, Bypass Road, part of Othakalmandapam, Madukkarai, Kovaipudur, Malumichampatti, Sundarapuram and Kuniamuthur. The following areas will not have power supply from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 19 owing to a shutdown at the Peelamedu sub-station: V.G. Rao Nagar, Kannapiran Mill Road, Kongu Nagar, Nanjundapuram Road, Sripathi Nagar, Rajaji Nagar, Iyer Hospital Road, Uppilipalayam, Masakalipalayam, Sowripalayam, Meena Estate, Sellandiamman Nagar, Nanjappa Nagar, Krishna Colony, Singanallur, Kallimadai, a part of Vellalore, Nanda Nagar, N.R.T. Layout, Olympus, Ramanathapuram, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, P.S.G. Hospital, P.S.G. Institutions, Varadarajapuram, E.S.I., a part of Pankaja Mill and Shoba Nagar, Nava India, Ellaithottam, Peelamedu, V.O.C. Colony, Peelamedu Pudur, Thaneerpandal, S.N.R. Layout, Sivaram Nagar, Kothari Layout, Thirumagal Nagar, Chandrakanthi Nagar, K.R. Puram, Kamadenu Nagar, Tirupur Textiles, P.S.G. area, Stock Exchange, Udayampalayam, Sungam Bypass Road and a portion of Race Course.
