Thiruvananthapuram: After a thorough search, Coast Guard on Monday dispelled apprehensions of suspicious movement of a ship off the Kollam coast as claimed to have been sighted by some people in the nearby fishing hamlets. "An intense search, including an aerial survey, was carried out. No suspicious movement or loitering of ship was found off the Kollam coast. But normal traffic of ships was there," a senior Coast Guard official said. Panic gripped parts of the coastal areas near Kollam town after people claimed to have sighted a ship anchored off Thirumullavaram beach. PTI
