KOTTAYAM: In a tragic incident, a three-year-old girl was killed when her uncle threw her into a well at Ramapuram, near Pala. According to the police, Chinnu (Ashley), daughter of Papachan and Jessy of Kunnathel House, was thrown into the well by her uncle, Jinson, 25, who was in a fit of rage after a quarrel with his sister, Jessy. The incident occurred on Sunday night. After the quarrel, Jessy had gone to her uncle's house nearby to complain about Jinson's behaviour. When she returned Chinnu was not to be found. Jinson was also found missing. The neighbours retrieved Chinnu's body from a well nearby after a search. Though the child was taken to hospital, she died, the police said.
