JAIPUR: The Rajasthan Government on Monday allocated a special budget for organising 5,000 literacy camps for women and 474 camps for development of their vocational skills this year. Similar camps held across the State last year had yielded encouraging results and were rated as highly successful. A circular issued by the Principal Secretary, Education, C.K. Mathew, to all District Collectors stated that the participation of at least 15 women in the literacy camps and 40 in the vocational training camps would be ensured and officials would be appointed as their nodal officers.
