KURNOOL: Christians, led by Kurnool District Pastors Council, organised a rally here on Monday urging the Government not to allow screening of the movie `The Da Vinci Code' in Kurnool district. The protesters gathered at STBC College and took out a rally to the Collectorate, where a meeting was held. The leaders of Pastors Council said the novel `The Da Vinci Code' was penned for cheap publicity with an eye on easy money. In the process, the author did not bother about the feelings of millions of Christians across the globe. The author tried to show Jesus Christ in poor light in order to create sensation.
