KARIMNAGAR: A toddy tapper was stabbed to death allegedly by his relative on the outskirts of Jangareddypalli village of Ellanthakunta mandal on Monday. The police said the accused, Anjaiah, who had recently come from Maharashtra had consumed toddy and got into a heated debate with his relative, O. Pochaiah. In the heat of the moment, he took a knife and stabbed Pochaiah to death and fled. The Ellanthakunta police have registered a case.
Vehicles lifted
Unidentified miscreants stole two motorcycles parked in different parts of Karimnagar town on Monday. According to the police a lecturer in Jyothinagar area, found his two-wheeler parked in front of the college missing. In a similar incident, Satyanarayana who had parked his bike near a chit fund office near the R&B guesthouse found the vehicle missing.
Girl kidnapped
Ramulu (23) of Venkannapalli village of Sircilla mandal allegedly abducted a 16-year-old minor girl of the same village on Monday on the pretext of marrying her. Based on a complaint lodged by the girl's father, the police registered a case and are investigating.
