Traffic restrictions

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: Police have prohibited the movement of vehicles, except BMTC buses, between Yeshwanthapur and Vijayanagar through P&T Circle on Magadi Chord Road and M.C. Circle in view of the construction of an underpass at the junction of Magadi Main Road and West of Chord Road (M.C. Circle).

Vehicles coming towards M.C. Circle from Vijayanagar have to take a left turn at P&T Circle, join Magadi Main Road near Veeresh cinema, take a left turn at 2nd Main Road, Rajajinagar Industrial Town, proceed on West of Chord Road Service Road and take a right turn at Fire Station to reach West of Chord Road.

Following the traffic diversion, the police have banned parking of vehicles on either sides of the 2nd Main Road, Rajajinagar Industrial Town, from Magadi Main Road junction to Service Road junction.

The police have made West of Chord Road Service Road a one-way (vehicles will not be allowed from north to south) and banned parking on it from Fire Station junction to M.C. Circle.
