BANGALORE: Three persons, including a woman, were killed in separate road accidents in the city since Sunday night. Police said that around 9.30 a.m. on Monday a private bus knocked down a scooter on which Habeebunnisa (53) was riding pillion with her husband Abdul Gaffer. As Habeebunnisa fell, the bus ran over her, killing her instantaneously. Gaffer, who was injured, has been hospitalised. The accident occurred near Benniganahalli bus stop. The Indiranagar traffic police have seized the bus and registered a case. In another incident, Bangaru (25), who tried to alight from a moving BMTC bus at the M.S. Ramaiah Road-C.V. Raman Road junction, banged his head against an electric pole in the early hours of Monday. An injured Bangaru, who was rushed to K.C. General Hospital, died there. Bangaru, a native of Nanjangud in Mysore district, was a resident of Doddabyaladakere here. He worked as a light boy in a film unit, the police said. The Yeshwanthapur traffic police have registered a case. Mohammed Syed Saleem (25) was killed when a multi-utility vehicle rammed his motorcycle on Tumkur Road, off Goverdhan cinema, around 11.30 p.m. on Sunday. Police said Saleem, a garage manager, was a resident of R.T. Nagar.
