Proposals invited for State Teachers' Awards

HYDERABAD: The District Educational Officer has invited proposals for the State Teachers Awards -2006. Teachers who have completed 20 years of service with good results are eligible for the awards and the proposals may be submitted through the Inspecting Officer concerned before July 30.

Teachers of recognised primary and second school, Sanskrit teachers of Sanskrit Pathashalas and schools run on traditional lines, Arabic/Persian teachers of madarsas, teachers of CBSE, CISCE, CTSA affiliated schools and teachers of schools run for special children were eligible to apply for the award, according to DEO S. Jagannath Reddy.
