`Harassment' of Muslims flayed

Hyderabad: The Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) expressed dismay at the arrest and harassment of Muslims in Maharashtra after Mumbai blasts. JIH secretary general Mohd Jafar said after the blast many Muslims had helped hospitalise the injured. But they were now being implicated by the police without proof. He deplored attempts by the media to link SIMI with JIH and said the latter had no link with the banned outfit.
