Send-off to High Court Judge

Kochi: A full court reference was given to Justice R.Bhaskaran who retired on Monday. Advocate General C.P. Sudharakara Prasad and Kerala High Court Advocates Association president Sreekumar spoke at the reference. — Staff Reporter

KOCHI: Situations are vacant for out-reach workers for the Centre for Advanced Projects and Solutions (CAPS) PSH project under the Kerala AIDS Control Society. Selected candidates will be given a salary of Rs.5000. Eligibility for applying is degree and fluency in Hindi. Three hurt in accident

KOCHI: A car was completely burnt after hitting a mini lorry at Koonamavu Chithira Junction on National Highway 17 at around 9 p.m. Three passengers in the car have been admitted to the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences. None of them are seriously injured, said the Varappuzha police. — Staff Reporter

Unidentified man dead

KOCHI: A man, aged around 55, collapsed and died while travelling on a private bus operating between Kaloor and Poochakkal. He had boarded the bus from Vytilla at around 5 p.m. The dark complexioned man was 5 feet 6 inches tall and was wearing dhoti and shirt and had a slight swelling on his right leg. The body is kept at General Hospital. — Staff Reporter
