Probe into Khurana's allegations demanded

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Ram Babu Sharma on Monday urged Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil to order a high-level probe into allegations levelled by former Chief Minister and suspended BJP leader Madan Lal Khurana against senior BJP leaders Sushma Swaraj and Lal Krishan Advani of having compromised national security.

Mr. Sharma said allegations levelled by Mr. Khurana could not be brushed aside. He said Mr. Khurana was a Union Minister in the Vajpayee Government and whatever he was stating was based on documentary evidence and inside information.

Mr. Sharma said the revelations by Mr. Khurana had exposed l claims of the previous NDA regime on national security and taking on anti-national elements. "It was time to bring out their misdeeds before the people so that real face of the BJP was exposed."
