Vendors have a tough time

Vendors of pirated versions of bestsellers and Bollywood music compact discs (CDs) usually have a pretty good time on the trains selling them to passengers at cheap rates.

But on Monday, the vendors on the Thiruvananthapuram-bound Netravati Express had a tough time from Kannur to Kozhikode.

A large posse of policemen, accompanied by the Dog and Bomb Squad, began searching the train following an anonymous call received at the Kozhikode Railway Station that a bomb would explode before the train reached Kozhikode.
