THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Government has nominated two experts each from the fields of Information Technology and Biotechnology to the Senate and Syndicate of the University of Kerala. According to press note issued here on Monday, the Government nominated the head of the Department of Library and Information Science of the University G. Devarajan and the head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics, TKM Engineering College, Kollam, Chandapillai Panikkar as IT experts to the Senate and the Syndicate. Professor at the Department of Biochemistry T. Rajamohan and head of the Department of Biotechnology at St. Xavier's College, Thumba, Cyril Johnson have been nominated to the Senate and Syndicate as experts in Biotechnology. These nominations have been done according to sections 17 (4) and 21(C) of the University Act, the press note added.
