CHENNAI: Sunil Dang of Economic and Political Rajdhani Times, New Delhi, was elected president of the Indian Languages Newspapers Association for 2006-07 at its 65th annual general meeting in New Delhi. V.K. Chopra of Gavakari Prakashan-Nasik and Krishna Shewdikar of Shramik Ek Joot, Nanded, were elected vice-presidents.

Pradeep Deshpande of Tarun Bharat, Belgaum, Anil Agarwal of Amravati Mandal, Amravati and Sandeep Kulshrestha of Lok Nabj, Ujjain were elected general secretaries.

Chanderkant Bhave of Dauk, Thane, is the treasurer.
