Reliance Capital Q1 profit up

CHENNAI: Reliance Capital Limited has reported a total income of Rs. 132.42 crore in the first three months ended June 30, 2006, against Rs. 65.59 crore in the same period in the previous year. The net profit has risen sharply to Rs. 94.53 crore from Rs. 29.62 crore. Net earnings work out to Rs. 4.24 against Rs. 2.33 per share.
