Ford launches Fiesta Diesel EXi

HYDERABAD: Ford India Pvt. Ltd. has announced the launch of Ford Fiesta Diesel Exi, a new diesel variant, in the market. With the launch of Fiesta, priced at Rs. 6.85 lakhs (ex-showroom), Ford India has introduced its proprietary turbo direct common rail injection (TDCi) technology. Announcing the launch of the new variant, Ford India's Vice President (Marketing), Scott McCormack, said the company had introduced the accelerometer pilot control system in Fiesta. The company was leading the premium mid-size car market in Andhra Pradesh with a share of 30 per cent. It had recently introduced total maintenance plan (TMP) for its high volume models and the TMP for Fiesta worked out to 0.52 paisa a km.
