Vimta Labs posts Rs. 15.33 cr. revenue in Q1

HYDERABAD: Vimta Labs has registered a total revenue of Rs. 15.33 crore during the first quarter ended June 30, 2006, against Rs. 12.72 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal. The net profit, however, declined to Rs. 3.53 crore from Rs. 3.63 crore owing to increased staff costs and other expenditure. The life sciences division of the company, coming up in the Genome Valley, is expected to be commissioned by the month-end.
