HYDERABAD: Taking a serious note of the political murders in Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy has issued orders for forming special teams to control factional violence in the Rayalaseema region as a whole. The killing of three Telugu Desam activists recently in the district was in focus during a review of the law and order situation in the State by the Chief Minister with Home Minister K. Jana Reddy and the police top brass here on Tuesday. The Chief Minister was stated to have pulled up police officials for allowing the situation to slip out of control in Anantapur district, resulting in such murders, and wanted suitable steps to be taken by Director-General of Police Swaranjit Sen to prevent their recurrence.
