KADAPA: Transco has granted revised consolidated pension for electricity board pensioners with 16 per cent of basic pension and an additional 15 per cent weightage with effect from April 1, 2006, Andrha Pradesh Electricity Employees Union Regional Secretary M. Prabhudas said on Tuesday. Accordingly, 31 per cent hike in pension would be effected for those retiring till March 31, 1990, 22 per cent for those retiring between April 1, 1990, and March 31, 1994, 20 per cent hike to those retiring between April 1, 1994 and March 31, 1998, and 16 per cent to those retiring after April 1, 1998, he said. He lauded the Government for revising wages of regular employees as well as pensioners in Transco, Genco and four discoms.

APEEU State president M.V. Ramana, who strove for better scales and facilities for employees, who retired from service, would be felicitated on July 20, Mr. Prabhudas said.
