They come with a load of problems

Despite total ban on entry of heavy vehicles into Dindigul during rush hours, lorries have been entering the town to unload goods, causing a lot of inconvenience to residents and school going children.

But the situation has turned from bad to worse. Now, transport carriers such as vans and mini-lorries are ferrying people to the town from villages.

Brushing aside dangers behind the journey, villagers used travel in these vans and mini-lorries to take part in private functions and festivals.
