Fuel price increase takes a toll on their energy
The gusty winds, it seems, are blowing the fortunes of sales representatives.
The winds are turning out to be more of a stumbling block to their pattern of work than rain or shine.
Ever since the cost of petrol skyrocketed, two-wheelers have ceased to be mode of travel in the city for many of their ilk.
Scores of sales representatives of consumer durables/perishables could be seen treading on in bicycles from one household to another along with the load of products while undertaking door-to-door campaigns.
But with the wind blowing rather hard, they lose all their energy pedalling.
The result: they gasp for breath while making a presentation of their products.
In some cases, however, sympathetic people turn potential customers.
