NeST plans to increase strength of IT professionals

Acquires more space on Technopark campus for expanding its facilities

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The information technology (IT) wing of Network Systems and Technologies (NeST) is planning to increase the strength of its professionals from the present number of 800 to 1,500 by the yearend, the company said in a press release on Tuesday.

The company has acquired more space on Technopark campus for expanding its facilities there. Its managing director, N. Jahangir, and Technopark Chief Executive Officer V.T. Jayakumar signed the agreement for this on Tuesday.

Quoting Mr. Jahangir, the press release said that once the works in the newly acquired space was completed, NeST's facility at the Technopark would have the capacity to take 3,000 professionals. The company planned to create 3,00,000 square feet of built-up space at Technopark by December this year, he added.

The NeST Group has three software development centres.
