NALGONDA: Two lovers, who had been missing since Sunday night, were found dead in a tank near Ayyappa Swamy temple on the outskirts of Devarakonda town on Tuesday. According to the police, Srilatha of Devarakonda and Prasada Reddy of Mahabubnagar had fallen in love and wanted to get married. However, Srilatha's family warned her against it. Following a tiff with family members over the issue, the girl had left home. "Srilatha called up her brother on Monday and told him that she had decided to commit suicide along with her lover. Before he could react, she switched off her mobile. The boy also sent an SMS to his brother that he had decided to kill himself," the police said. In a suicide note, Srilatha appealed to her parents to bury her body along with her lover after donating their eyes to a hospital. A police, team led by the Devarakonda DSP Srinivas, went to the spot.
