`Manayaal' musical video brings alive Bharati's `Kannamma Pattu'
BHARATHI RELIVED: Padmapriya in musical album `Manayaal'
Some months ago composer A.L.Suriyaa's music album `Poonjolai' was released.
A melody `Paayum Oli' sung by S.P. Balasubramaniam got rave reviews.
This set the composer thinking on ways to improve the same and make it reach the masses. Now the song `Paayuim Oli' has come as a video CD with the support of cameraman M.S. Prabhu.
It stars actor Padmapriya. S.Vishnu Ram, who is a fresh e-media graduate from Anna University directs this music video.
This popular song of poet Bharati from `Kannamma Paatu' collection has been christened `Manayaal'.
The song is shot in digital format set with the pre-Independence setting. `Manayaal' shows the importance of woman in human life.
Actor Padmapriya is portrayed as Chellamma, wife of Bharati and actor Anand Samy plays Bharati.
It deals with daily chores of an average wife and her suffering.
The song depicts 10 scenes and was completed in 2 days. This musical video is produced by A.L.Suriyaa for B Positive production and is soon to be telecast on channels SS Music and Star Vijay.
