Company shows off its socially responsible side
`The Rainbow Fiesta' was the name given to a function organised by IT company Xansa to mark the completion of three years of operations at Siruseri IT Park.
The company decided to show itself as a socially responsible entity at the occasion, which was celebrated at the Chennai Trade Centre last weekend.
Apart from the employees and their families, the special guests for the evening were 25 disabled, orphan girls from Share & Care, an organisation supported by Xansa as part of its corporate social responsibility programmes.
Eighteen children from two schools Government Higher Secondary School, Mambakkam, and Padma Adarsh Higher Secondary School, Siruseri performed on stage.
The evening's show included a fashion show, dance performances, group songs, and dances by children of Xansa-supported schools.
Prizes were also given to the winners of various contests held on the campus during the fortnight as part of the build up to the grand finale.
