RTC MD meets union leaders

Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD: In what was described a familiarisation and relationship meet, M.V. Krishna Rao, MD, APSRTC on Tuesday met depot secretaries representing different trade unions from all the 212 depots that the corporation runs in the State.

Mr. Rao said that this was part of the ongoing exercise to know how union representatives at the depot level perceived the corporation's top management and its decisions.

A prominent point that figured in the meeting was competition among depots situated off the various highways in the State.

Participants at the meeting were said to have narrated examples of how more than one depot was running services on the same sector and at the same time, thus robbing the corporation of precious revenue.
