COIMBATORE: `Elite Build Expo - 2006' will open at Padmavathi Ammal Cultural Centre in Coimbatore on July 21. The three-day exhibition will include every aspect involved in the construction of a houses, including furnishing and designing the interiors. The amount that is collected from the fair will be distributed to 416 needy children on the first day of the fair, said K.Pradeep Kumar, Founder President of Elite Charitable Trust, organisers of the expo. The Trust had received around 480 applications, out of which the most needy would be selected. The kind of requests also varied widely among the children and parents who applied for help to the Trust.
Sponsorship
While some asked for sponsorship of a year's education, others asked for books, food and even for medical assistance. The amount collected this year was Rs.1,86,860, which would be distributed.
Furniture
The expo will have 104 stalls. Kitchen and home appliances, furniture, building materials, electronic goods and furnishings are some of the things customers could pick up at the fair.
