KOCHI:
Ford India launched Ford Fiesta Diesel EXi on Wednesday here for the Kerala market, which Ford's vice-president of marketing and sales Scott McCormack described as an "important and growing automotive market." The car is priced at Rs.6.85 lakh (ex-showroom Kochi).
The Ford official claimed that the new version of Ford Fiesta offered "buyers a sensational package of outstanding driving dynamics, enhanced interior comfort, refinement and class leading fuel efficiency."
He said that Ford led the premium midsize car market in Kerala with over 29 per cent market share and that sales have been growing robustly.
Ford is set to extend its market lead with the introduction of the new car, he said. Ford leads the premium mid size segment in 17 top markets in India, he claimed. The company has two dealers and seven sales and service facilities across Kerala
