Union Minister to visit steel plant

VISAKHAPATNAM: Union Minister of State for Steel Akhilesh Das will visit the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) on Thursday and Friday.

Besides holding discussions with VSP Chairman and Managing Director Y. Siva Sagara Rao and directors and reviewing VSP's performance and expansion works, the Minister will also attend a corporate presentation on the plant's activities on Thursday.

On Friday, Mr. Das will visit the VSP's production units and meet members of the Steel Executives' Association and Forum for Women in Public Sector.

On Saturday, he will meet leaders of various trade unions.
