Bidar: Senior physician and District Leprosy Eradication Officer Gurusiddappa Shiva Murthy died of prolonged illness on Tuesday. The last rites were conducted in his native village of Hilalapur on Wednesday evening. Staff of the government hospital, office-bearers of the Indian Medical Association and zilla panchayat deputy secretary Mallikarjun Math have mourned the death of Dr. Murthy. They hailed his services to the district, said a release.
