Rachana registers easy wins

Mysore: Local lass and top seed Rachana R. Gowda, a ninth standard student of Christ The King Convent, Mysore, registered easy wins to enter the semifinals in both the U-14 and U-16 singles semifinals on the third day of the IMS Learning Resources (P) Ltd's Karnataka State-ranking junior tennis championships 2006, at the MTC courts here on Wednesday.

Rachana trounced Angela Vincent (Blr) 8-0 in the under-16 singles quarterfinals and in the under-14 section, she registered an easy 8-0 win over Rachana Gowda M.S.
