VISAKHAPATNAM: Cavaliers CC won the VDCA fifth division clubs league title, beating Vizag Veterans by nine wickets in the last super league match here on Wednesday. Kent CC finished runner-up. Cavaliers won all the 11 matches it played in the league, eight in the preliminary league and three in the super league. Kent qualified for the super league with six wins and took the second spot in the super league by winning two matches. The scores: Vizag Veterans 150 in 40 overs (Uday 41, N. Srinivas Raju five for 29) lost to Cavaliers CC 153 for one in 22 overs (Chidambareswara Rao 55 n.o., Harikrishna 54 n.o.). — Special Correspondent
