North Zone gains two points

VIJAYAWADA: North Zone garnered two points against South Zone by virtue of its first innings lead in the ACA under-19 inter-zone cricket match, which ended in a draw at the Siddhartha Medical College grounds here on Wednesday.

The scores: North Zone 438 for seven decl. (G. Appanna 136, S. Kranthi Kumar 124, Sk. Akram four for 131) and 66 for two decl. drew with South Zone 202 (Moshin Basha 102) and 83 for seven (V. Trinath four for 22).
